A leader in producing dependable chippers, stumpers, waste reduction machines for the tree care, land clearer and forest industries.

With more than 45,000 machines in operation worldwide, Bandit's products are known for their high performance, dependability and innovative features. Bandit Industries, Inc. products are produced by 340 employees in a modern 250,000 square foot manufacturing plant in rural central Michigan. Bandit produces four distinct lines of products:

HAND-FED CHIPPERS:
A line of hand-fed tree and brush chippers with chipping capacities from 6" to 21" in diameter. Both towable and self-propelled machines are offered. They are the most popular chippers within in the tree care industry used by both private contractors and governmental agencies. They are also very popular within the rental industry, especially those that cater to contractors and governmental agencies. Some of Bandit's larger hand-fed chippers are used by loggers to chip limbs and tops for fuel wood.

WHOLE TREE CHIPPERS:
Bandit's line of whole tree chippers includes chippers with 18", 20", 22", 24" diameter chipping capacities along with a new 36" diameter capacity machine. These whole tree chippers have been very popular within the tree care industry and with land clearing contractors. Many of Bandit's whole tree chippers are also offered as self propelled units, making them extremely popular with land clearing contractors, especially those who clear land for major construction projects and utility line work. With the increased interest in harvesting logging waste for fuel, the demand for Bandit's whole tree chippers is increasing. The Model 3590 with 36" diameter chipping capacity and 1,200 hp was introduced in late 2007, and is popular with large contractors & logging operations wanting to capture its logging waste and transform it into valuable products for the fuel wood markets.

WASTE REDUCTION MACHINES:
Bandit's line of Beast Recycling machines are extremely popular worldwide, converting unwanted wood waste to mulch and fuel wood products and a raw material for pressed board from unwanted pallet and construction debris. Four models of the Beast Recyclers are offered with horsepower options from 160 hp to 1,200 hp. These extremely popular machines are known for their high production, dependability and low operating costs. The unique cuttermill design in the Beast Recyclers allow one to cut, split or grind the material which allows the owner to set up the machine to provide the best production and lowest operating costs based on the type of material being run. A new system that incorporates chipper teeth into the cuttermill, known as the Beast Knife System, transforms any Beast Recycler into a high-capacity whole tree chipper. This system has proven itself as a top contender in producing clean, dimensional chips for fuel wood markets, and can be fitted to any of Bandit's four Beast Recyclers. The ability to adjust screens and teeth is also extremely important in producing the desired end product ensuring maximum value for the mulch, fuel and board products being produced. Many of Bandit's Beast Recyclers are also offered as self-propelled track units, making them ideal land clearing machines.

STUMP GRINDERS:
Bandit offers a complete line of stump grinders from the simple, handy, backyard handle bar stumpers to a powerful 275 hp, self-propelled track stumper. From compact backyard units, some with expandable/retractable track undercarriages and others with four-wheeled tight-turning radii, to heavy-duty land clearing units, some that can be equipped with forestry mowing attachments: Bandit's line of stump grinders is sure to please virtually every level of contractor.
